Collection: Handmade Design Bags

Hannamaija Salakari is a handbag artist and designer from Finland, and currently located in France,  where she runs her own design bag store. She founded her sustainable label HSalakari, in 2019. In her handmade bags she uses solely recycled leather and fabrics. 

Designer's Thoughts
"My Finnish roots and upbringing have instilled in me a deep respect for nature. That is why after many years designing for the fashion industry I have chosen to work with recycled materials. My bags are made to last and are, in most cases, made-to-measure.

I offer a glimpse in to my craft through this selection of handmade bags. Whilst using salvaged leather from European furniture makers, I aspire to convey timeless design and impeccable workmanship."
