Johanna Kangasharju is an artist who hails from North Ostrobothnia, Finland. She empowers herself with art and creates her paintings with instinctual governance.

Artist’s thoughts about her creative process:
“Inspired by my father, ever since I was a child, I have painted. Only after my own children grew up, I began to take a more serious approach to painting. I discovered how liberating and relaxing painting was for me. It became a dear hobby and a way to “escape” the hectivity of mundane days. I was taken by surprise how many things I was able to intuitively paint into a single piece of work. Those paintings became very intimate to me, being some sort of empowering works. When I paint, I let the brush lead me. I create my art with joy and love, and I hope that these feelings are conveyed to viewers as well."
