Artist thoughts about her work:
"I become infatuated with clay, the same way as gardens, forests, and nature overall take me into the thoughts of development and beauty, that one just cannot bypass. Wandering in these surroundings builds images and colors into my mind, becoming tangible later on in my hands with clay. An object, which first lingers for long in my mind and my hands, and later on stays for long with someone else. Plants and animals are taking their form in the shapes and structures of the sculptures. When I think about the nature, I often relate also to the idea of our many seasons, and I feel a strong belonging. The seasonality takes a tangible form in the subjects and rhythm of my work."
