Heidi Tykkä is a Finnish artist who’s graduating as a professional upholsterer in 2021. She’s studied arts since upper secondary school specialized in visual arts and is still actively pursuing creative endeavors professionally and in her leisure time.

Artist’s thoughts about her creative process: 
“For me, painting is akin to meditation. It calms me and helps me to free my mind from clutter. It is also therapeutic; it helps me address various emotions. Often times I’ve produced my best works in the throes of passionate feelings. I love colors and I mainly paint intuitively. Colors give me strength, joy and energy. I hope these sentiments are conveyed to the viewers.”
