”I’ve always assumed I lived in my body when, in fact, I’ve been sneakily dwelling in my head. I’ve tried too much without progressing. Eventually I got tired and was broken down by my burdens. I gave up. Until I heard a demure, soft voice saying: 'Paint, paint, allow the colors to appear on the paper.' I took this message to heart and gave myself permission to submit to the canvas and it swept me away. The darker the paths taken in my soul, the brighter the colors appeared on the canvas. To remind me 'This strength and light is within you'.”
